Goal

OlkiApp is a capstone project at the University of Turku. The project owner is Teollisuuden Voima Oyj. With the launch of the Olkiluoto-3 nuclear power plant, Teollisuuden Voima is set to produce over 30% of Finland's electiricy. To succeed with this, its staff needs an efficient means of communication. The purpose of OlkiApp is to be a a prototype for a custom all-in-one communication platform for the Teollisuuden Voima staff, currently including news feeds and push notifications of important events.

Implementation

React Native mobile frontend with Expo framework, Microsoft Itentity platform for login, Azure AD for app usage administration. Also PowerApps prototype.

Future development

Integrate in-app instant communication with MS Teams through APIs.
