About our project

The goal of this project was to produce a way of visualizing old Axelia I university spaces. We started the project with nothing but old 2D floor plans, which do not communicate important details about the building like the special equipment that's already in the building.

This project was very interesting and challenged each team member to learn new skills. The challenge was given to us by Green Industry Park: a development company founded in June 2021 to help develop industrial businesses in the bioeconomy, circular economy and renewable energy sectors.

Core packages

Our project utilizes a few important core packages that do the heavy lifting of creating a web application as well as viewing 360 images.

Results

We were able to produce a web application for viewing properties with modern visualization techniques.​

The application features a 360 virtual tour that allows the user to visit the property virtually. The user can navigate inside the property by using a map.​ You can also view details about the property such as the special equipment in it.​

Additionally, we produced valuable documentation about the process of building such an application as well as taking 360 images of spaces of varying size and managing user requirements.
