Introduction

MyFlavoria is an app where customers can store information about their meals, see the nutritional intake of lunches and amount of biowaste at the restaurant. This way customers can also participate in research to develop new food solutions and reduce waste. Problem was that not many customers use the MyFlavoria app.

Goal

Goal of the project is to improve the UX of MyFlavoria application. Improvements aim to make the app easier to use and introduce more customers to use the app.

Results

App has a new color change, and redesigned pages including meals page, guide page, and login page and menus. Meal dates are now presented on the same page for easier viewing. The nutritional intake charts were improved to make them more readable. Side dishes page was improved to make adding side dishes to the app easier. The ingredients and allergens of each meal can now be found under each meal in the app. User stories were used to improve the app's current features. The QR-code reading was made more user friendly by adding notifications when the QR-code is successfully read. Customers can now give feedback to the restaurant in the app as well. A survey to customers is being conducted at the moment and results will give more insight why customers use or aren’t using myFlavoria app.
