The goal of the project was to find out how people scan their environments when they are asked to look for an object in virtual reality. The results could prove valuable in many aspects of environmental design, from simple store decorating to advertising to placement and design of safety measures to even more general city design. Our first sought after result, presented to us by our customer, was factory safety installations.

Our results are quite lacking due to the COVID-19 spread happening during our testing phase. From what little data we did get we could conjure that there are some differences between men and women in what they focus on in their environments in virtual reality.

Our research was cut short due to a pandemic spread, and as such we think that this should definitely be researched more in the future. The data gathered from the research would be important in many fields, including safety measures, city construction, and psychology.
